Improvements: New design, Slightly smaller than the Galaxy S21, Nightography, OIS improvement by 58%, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 4 nm processor, Armor Aluminum frame, Gorilla Victus+ glass, more colors than S21, Main camera upgraded from 12MP to 50MP, 3x optical zoom in the telephoto camera, faster charging, 120Hz refresh rate, IP68 water-and-dust-proof.
Downside: Slightly smaller than the Galaxy S21, not having a microSD slot, smaller battery, telephoto camera dropped from 64MP to 10MP.
Personal opinion: The Galaxy S22 have improved a lot compared to the Galaxy S21, started by the new premium and polished design, getting rid of the plastic back and replacing it with Armor Aluminum frame and the Gorilla Victus+ glass in both the front and the back of the phone, I’m very impressed about how Samsung started bringing premium features in the entry-level of their S devices, Samsung also provided more colors than the S21 which I liked.
I like the camera improvement especially in night mode with the introduction of the Nightography feature and OIS improvement by 58%, we should also mention the main camera upgrade from 12MP to 50MP and upgrading telephoto optical zoom to 3x.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 makes the phone powerful and the 120Hz refresh rate makes phone navigation much smoother.
Samsung did a great job, but I also don’t like many things in the phone, like the fact that it has a slightly smaller screen, some people may like that, so this is why I made this both an improvement and a downside, and you won’t see the difference unless if you compare it side-by-side with Samsung Galaxy S21.
I also don’t like the fact that the phone has a smaller battery capacity than the S21 even if this made the phone faster to charge, but anyway, it’s a great phone.
If you have a very old phone and thinking of an upgrade, then go and buy the Galaxy S22, it runs the latest Android 12, the latest processor, a great camera, but if you have a Galaxy S21, I wouldn’t recommend you get the Galaxy S22 as the changes are not that impactful, you better wait for the next Samsung flagship.

Improvements: Same as Galaxy S21 but in comparison with Samsung S21+, 45-watt charging, Wi-Fi 6E, and ultra-wideband.
Downside: Same as Galaxy S21 but in comparison with Samsung S21+.
Personal opinion: The Galaxy S22+ came as an improvement of the Galaxy S22, it has a better screen, better battery, 2x faster charging, better Wi-Fi, and comes with ultra-wideband.
Even if it’s better than S22, it’s worse than S21+ in terms of the battery and the screen.
If you want to buy it, I will recommend you to save $200 more and get the S22 Ultra.
S22 Ultra
Price: $1200.
Screen size: 6.8" inches.
Screen resolution: 1440 x 3088.
Screen Type: OLED.
Refresh rate: 120Hz.
Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

UWB: Yes.
Front Camera: 40MP.
Rear Camera: 108MP Wide, 12MP Ultra Wide, 10MP Tele 3x Optical Zoom, 10MP Tele 10x Optical Zoom.
Improvements: Same as S22 and S22+ but in comparison with S21 Ultra, + 45-watt charging + S pen built-in + more customization than S22 and S22+ in terms of RAM (Up to 12 GB) and storage (Up to 1 TB) + Wi-Fi 6E + ultra wideband, an entirely different design, decreased S pen latency.
Downside: Less RAM capacity than S21 Ultra, not having a microSD slot, telephoto camera dropped from 64MP to 10MP, sharp corners.
Personal opinion: This phone is quite different from others, instead of having a worse screen and battery size than the S21 series like in Galaxy S22 and S22+, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has the same screen and battery size as S21 Ultra.
The phone has an entirely different design from other phones in the same series, it’s more rectangular than rounded, this is because of the S pen, it’s like the Note style, what I don’t like about that is the sharp corner.
I liked the customization they provide in storage, they let you choose between 128 GB, 256 GB; 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage.
45 Watt charging is not bad, but the competitors such as Xiaomi have reached 120W.
What’s bad about the phone is that compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has less RAM capacity.
Let’s talk about the S Pen in the S22 Ultra, as we know, the Note 20 production got shut down, and Samsung have not introduced any Note device for 2 years, having the S pen built-in with Galaxy S22 Ultra, this is a clear sign that Samsung tries to kill the Note lineup, even if Samsung didn’t say that they will kill it.

Improvements: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm processor, better front camera, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, Android 12, OneUI 4.1, S pen built-in, decreased S pen latency.
Downsides: Wi-Fi-only
Personal opinion: The tablet specifications are impressive on paper, it has the latest flagship processor.
The front camera was upgraded from an 8 MP normal camera to a 12 MP Ultra-wide camera that has also auto-framing technology.
The only downside is that the tablet doesn’t support a cellular connection, so you will be forced to use Wi-Fi only.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S7, you won’t gonna need to upgrade to the new Galaxy Tab S8.
If you have a very old tablet or even new to the tablet world and need a great tablet for video conferencing, Galaxy Tab S8 will suit your needs.

Improvements: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm processor, better front camera, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, Android 12, OneUI 4.1, S pen built-in, decreased S pen latency.
Downsides: More expensive than Galaxy Tab S7, less storage customization
Personal opinion: Like the Galaxy S22+, Galaxy Tab S8+ is just an improvement for the Galaxy Tab S8, it has 5G support, a bigger screen, a bigger battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Compared to the Tab S7+, Galaxy Tab S8+ have less storage customization and it’s more expensive.
If you want to buy the Tab S8+, I recommend you save more money and get the Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra.
Tab S8 Ultra

Storage: 128–256–512 GB.
Fingerprint sensor: In-Display.
Front Camera: 12 MP Ultra-Wide — 12 MP Fixed Focus.
Rear Camera: 13 MP Wide — 6 MP Ultra-Wide.
Improvements: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm processor, dual front camera, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, Android 12, OneUI 4.1, S pen built-in, decreased S pen latency.
Downsides: Wi-Fi-only
Personal opinion: This is currently the best Android tablet ever, it’s the first Samsung tablet that has the ultra edition.
Like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, the Tab S8 Ultra is Wi-Fi-only too.
But this doesn’t make the tablet bad, it has a bigger screen, bigger battery, more customization than other tablets in the same series, dual front camera, it’s the best android tablet especially for video conferencing and I highly recommend it over Galaxy Tab S8+.
